Consumer products company located in the San Gabriel area is looking for a Senior Accountant on a contract-to-hire basis. In this position, main duties for the Senior Accountant include handling monthly/quarterly/annual closes, financial statement preparation, COGS analysis, inventory management, preparing journal entries, bank, and account reconciliations, sales tax, and conducting general ledger management. The Senior Accountant will also assist with handling A/P & A/R functions, creating variance analysis and cash flow reports, and other ad hoc duties.

• Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 4+ years of general accounting experience. Strong accounting/GAAP knowledge.
• Manufacturing / consumer products industry experience is required.
• Strong familiarity with ERP systems.
• Must have excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented, multi-tasking, and ability to hit deadlines is critical.
• Ability to work with various personnel is essential.
• Pay, $40 - 45/hr. $85,000 - 90,000k upon hire.
